Most Americans think the US economy will collapse
Posted by Stephen Cline on March 24th, 2010There are a lot of Americans who think that the US economy is on the verge of a collapse and it is just a matter of time before which this will surely take place too. This is as per a Fox News survey where more than 79% of Americans are of the opinion that the US economy could be close to collapsing. This is quite concerning but true, as it is a kind of indication of consumer and general confidence of the populace. What is worse is that the people think that politicians on both sides of the political divide are quite incapable of stemming the rot and making any credible changes to what is now a terrible situation.
Not only this, people have started losing their faith and hope in Obama too, as many people think that the White House is quite incapable of doing anything as the problem is going to be fixed by some measly stimulus package. People have been losing jobs all over the place and this is the single biggest reason why so many folks think that water has started flowing over the danger mark and that it is impossible to stem the tide and stop all the rubbish that is taking place around the US.
