You do make some good points, but I think you will realize that you will make the solution that you least intended. You are right about large governments causing waste, but that is the result of being unable to predict the movement of resources in such a large population. Our way of formulating government to meet the needs of our booming population is flawed but that is because working people in the government do not want to lose their jobs. So instead of getting rid of failed branches we add.
this is a silly vid, you fail to distinguish between effective government spending and ineffective. your right, there are numerous cases of ineffective spending. however, there are also cases where it helps. take investing in roads. what if the government never invested in roads? companies would have to build there own roads and probably wouldn’t let the public use it. people wouldn’t be able to commute to jobs that are far away. the economy would definitely not be what it is today without them.
of course the generalized ideas of keynesianism shouldn’t be a bible for how to stimulate the economy, but your ideas are just as bad. when we are dealing with specific problems with the economy you can’t generalize. thats just lazy problem solving.
Scottish Moral Philosopher John Smithsaid any money spent by Govt. is merely a redistribution of wealth, and is thereforecanceled as a factor in an economy.(paraphrased).
Yeah, just because Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Europe recovering from WW2, and the US becoming the world strongest country during WW2 using Keynesian economics;doesn’t mean Keynes wasn’t a fraud. Fucking liberal

Why is he ignoring the fact that the govt is increasing the money supply? We have a fiat currency – not a finite amount of money.

I think you missed the part about Japan spending giant amounts of money to private industries which caused the Japan miracle.
