do you think studying economics is important and why or why not. How can understanding economics benefit you as you prepare for life? Do you think understanding the economy is more important now than it was 20, 30, 50 years ago?

yea.. at least you can understand the news paper. you can understand why your company’s policy change and if you are the boss of your company, you would know how to make a better decision according to your knowledge about the economy in a certain territory.
Sure it can be important. It can be used to gauge how systems and organizations work in life. I suppose it would also depend on what you want to do with your life.
Understanding it now would definitely be more important than 20- 50 years ago for in the past, lives were less hectic with less business minds!
yes, it is important because economics deals about decision making……..in your daily life, in your life as a citizen, as a student, as a business man and so that you are aware and you can understand of what is happening in your society
Economics is the study of making constrained decisions, often under uncertainty. It is a useful way of looking at the world, but not the only way.
economics is all about common sense ,we all need to understand what we can/not do in this fragile world of finance.
