Debit cards have become a big part of our everyday lives. We use it to buy cups of coffee in the morning, put gas in our car, even purchase a .30 cent pack of gum. We have even started using prepaid debit cards which makes debits cards open to move people. The increase in use of debit cards can be attributed to the growing debt the US public has managed to accrue using credit cards. Banks are trying their best discourage the use of debit cards since they make more from credit card transaction. Get the facts on the plastic you keep.

    I use my debit card for most retail and restaurant purchase of $5.00 plus. And always pay cash for gas.

  4. daf – I haven’t seen one in a snack machine that sold gum but debit and credit card readers on soda machines are getting common. You are also not limited at most grocery stores how little you place on a card.
