Whats The Difference Between Economics And Financial Economics Courses At University?

Whats the main differences? What does the financial part bring in to the course that is different from economics?
And what does each course lead to job wise?

  1. Econ coves all parts of the economy and Financial Econ focuses on the financial aspects [banking, securities, trade and business financing].
    FE probably is better for a specific job. Econ in general is more of a social science.
    Personally, I find FE boring and grubby, but to each his own.
